22 August 2022 - This year's Southeast Michigan Voter Challenge

It’s time to start thinking about how you will vote in the important November 2022 election, particularly if you live in Berkley, Ferndale, Huntington Woods, Lathrup Village, Oak Park, Pleasant Ridge, Royal Oak or Southfield. 

We are officially starting our third Voter Challenge (previously in 2018 and 2020) to these southeast Michigan communities to increase their voter turnout and win awards for charities that they select. 

This year's Voter Challenge mimics that in 2020. Based on the election turnout, as assessed by Oakland County Elections, we will give awards of: first place $1,000, second place $500, third place $250, 75% turnout $250, 80% turnout $500. Cities only get one award.
