25 November 2019: Urge stores to carry products NOT made in China
There is a tremendous amount of evil in the world. At times, it seems overwhelming to know what to do. But although a small grain of sand may not alter a sand pile, eventually enough grains will cause the sand pile to topple.
Here is a letter I recently sent to Costco:
Greetings,
I love going to Costco, particularly because you pay your employees a living wage and treat them well. This past week, I bought pants made in Vietnam, beanies made in Canada as well as various vegetables and fruits from around the world.
I would like you to carry more clothing products NOT made in China. As you know, the government of China systematically violates human rights, steals intellectual property, invades consumer privacy with their electronic products and shows a blatant disregard for the rule of law. As a result, many of us are refusing to buy products made in their country. I would rather pay more money for a product NOT made in China.
Please review and advise.
