26 July 2020: Help ensure integrity of our elections

In response to this article in the Washington Post by Jennifer Rubin, I wrote this letter to Michigan's Governor and Secretary of State, and encourage you to write similar letters:

Dear Governor Whitmer / Secretary of State Benson,

I am asking you to publicly pledge to respect the November 2020 election results and refuse to delay certification of the vote based on spurious accusations.

Incredibly, the President of the United States has indicated he may not respect these election results. Perhaps there is little we can do about his behavior, but you can model appropriate behavior by making this pledge, which may encourage others to follow.
