28 June 2020: Censure Donald Trump

Every day, at least 500 Americans die due to the incompetence of Donald Trump. It's hard to know what we should do, but I intend to try my best to get him to resign or remove him from office (through legal means), even if the odds are low.

Today, I wrote to my Congressman and Senators, and I urge you to act in some way also:

Dear Congressman / Senator:

I urge you to ask the House / Senate to censure or otherwise rebuke President Trump for his incompetence regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only has he failed to establish a national strategy regarding testing kits, supplies, or personal protective equipment, but he also acts as if he simply does not care.

In addition, he has directly endangered the public by supporting dangerous practices such as taking untested drugs or ingesting disinfectants and has discouraged safety measures such as wearing masks and social distancing. Further, he has prevented others, such as Drs. Fauci and Birx, from doing their jobs. If you are capable of urging him to resign, that would also be helpful.
