30 January 2020: Improving our society one small step at a time

I believe we can have an impact on society, even by taking small steps. But we have to actually act, not just think about doing it.

I recently wrote to Westborn Market in Berkley:

Greetings,

I enjoy shopping at your Berkley store. The presentation is very nice, and the quality of the produce is high. However, as an environmentally conscious consumer, I do not buy products packaged in styrofoam, which is difficult to reuse or recycle. For this reason, I did not purchase your yellow squash and some other products. Trader Joe's across the street switched to cardboard. I hope you find a substitute too.
