What constitutes evil in today’s society?

1. Being dishonest on a regular basis.

2. Promoting hatred, prejudice or violence.

3. Taking away the political rights of others.

4. Bowing down, literally or figuratively, to the rich and famous.

5. Using one’s position in government or the nonprofit world to enrich oneself.

6. Promoting policies that benefit the rich and powerful at the expense of the rest of society.

In general, I think it is important to tolerate opposing points of view, but evil must be vigorously fought.
