7 September 2019: The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact

I recently wrote to my Michigan legislators to urge support of this initiative, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Popular_Vote_Interstate_Compact, which now has the support of the conservative Detroit News, see https://www.detroitnews.com/story/opinion/editorials/2018/09/09/michigan-should-pass-national-popular-vote/1211021002/.

Ultimately, I think this question about how we should select a President is so important that we need to inform ourselves about it and make our views known to our state legislators, whether we support it or oppose it.
