9 August 2020: Updates on Donald Trump resigning
Alas, there has not been a surge of interest in pushing Donald Trump to resign. However, one never knows when our seemingly meaningless grain of stand dropped on the sandpile will be enough to cause it to collapse, so I think it worthwhile to carry on, as well as work on other efforts to ensure he and his enablers are defeated in the November election.
Updates to the list of Trump resign articles are at:
https://natpernick.blogspot.com/2020/07/who-is-calling-on-donald-trump-to-resign.html.
This article is from 12 March 2020, which I just found, and is just as relevant today:
The president’s incoherence has reached a level that is a hazard to public health.
The best thing Trump can do for the country, to speed its response to the novel coronavirus,
is resign and let someone capable take over.

Another interesting quote:
More than 100 newspapers, including The Denver Post, called for Bill Clinton to resign
over Monica Lewinsky. How many people died over Clinton’s lie?
Start being brave and call for Trump’s resignation.
We can’t wait six months before an adult can take over.
Thousands of lives are at stake."

Two great articles from the New York Times:

Timothy Egan, opinion writer, https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/31/opinion/trump-resign.html
Here are 2 online petitions calling for his resignation:
