Conservatives: it's time to put country over party and America over Trump.

Note: the video above is intended for conservatives. As a liberal, I do not agree with many of its statements, but I do agree with its central thesis that the GOP is dangerous and Trump must be defeated. I also agree with the emailed statement of the Lincoln Project:
“Closure is the key word here. It’s time to stop thinking that the Republican party will ever be what it once was, or that the few remaining conservatives can make a difference. Today, the party is dangerous. It led an insurrection, it’s backing a criminal for the Oval Office, it’s refusing to do anything while it’s in charge of the House, and depending on what happens in November, it could destroy America as we know it by turning it into a dictatorship. The only way to get closure? Re-electing President Biden.” [links added by me]
Here are similar statements from Liz Cheney, as quoted in the Washington Post by David Ignatius:
“I will do everything I can to make sure [Trump] is never anywhere near the Oval Office again,” vowed Cheney. Defeating Trump means reelecting President Biden and rejecting third-party candidates, she said forthrightly. Though she disagrees with Biden on many policy issues, she said his victory in November is necessary to save the country from potential dictatorship.
If Trump wins, Cheney explained, “we’ll be living in a nation that’s unrecognizable, and the danger is so grave that, for the first time in my life, I will be working with every fiber of my body against the Republican nominee for president.” I sometimes find warnings about Trump’s dictatorial ambitions overblown. But, in Cheney’s deeply personal voice, they ring true.
