To show the mega corporations who really holds power in the United States (i.e., we, the people), The People’s Union and others are organizing an economic boycott:
The People's Union is not just about resisting corruption, it is about exposing it. For decades, corporations, politicians, and industries have worked together to rig the system against the American people. They have built an economy designed to exploit workers, suppress wages, and keep the majority of us in a constant state of struggle. These are the forces that have stolen our financial freedom, manipulated our government, and kept power in the hands of the wealthy elite.
Mega corporations have driven up prices, underpaid their workers, and outsourced jobs while raking in record profits. Banks and financial institutions have trapped generations in debt, inflating interest rates and making homeownership nearly impossible. Politicians ”both left and right" have accepted corporate bribes, passed laws that serve billionaires, and ignored the needs of the people they claim to represent. The system has been designed to keep us powerless, but that ends now.
Economic blackout day
Friday, 28 February 2025, all day
WHAT NOT TO DO:
Do not make any purchases.
Do not shop online or in-store.
No Amazon, No Walmart, No Best Buy.
Nowhere!
Do not spend money on Fast Food, Gas or Major Retailers.
Do not use Credit or Debit Cards for nonessential spending (since credit card fees go to the big banks).
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Only buy essentials if absolutely necessary (Food, Medicine, Emergency Supplies).
If you must spend, ONLY support small, local businesses.
I urge you to join me in boycotting all businesses, except small businesses, on Friday, 28 February 2025. Although the Trump administration is run by billionaires for billionaires, we, the people, have more power than them. We need to show our power to the billionaires and start to use it against them.

Take the opportunity to get out and get to know your local farmers, bee keepers, herbalists and others in your community to build new networks to get your supplies. Trumps policies are going to send us into a hard recession. Build local networks that don’t rely on supply chains. Get super local! Also start a garden.
We could add ALL social media to that blackout list.
