Hamas is winning its war against Israel and the Jews.
In 2006, the people of Gaza elected Hamas to form their government, knowing that Hamas was a terrorist organization committed by its charter to the destruction of Israel.
Since then, Hamas has continued to engage in terrorist and authoritarian activities including:
Killing and torturing Gazans who oppose its government.
Embedding its military into the residences, mosques, schools, hospitals and ambulances of the people of Gaza so that Israeli responses to its terrorist attacks would necessarily kill nonmilitary personnel.
Not allowing any other elections.
Diverting funds, food, fuel and construction materials intended for the impoverished people of Gaza into its military. Hamas has an investment portfolio of real estate and other assets worth $500 million and an annual military budget of up to $350 million.
Creating the Gaza metro, a series of tunnels hundreds of miles long built underneath densely populated areas of Gaza. This not only diverted huge sums of aid and construction materials away from those who needed it most but also means that any attempt to attack the tunnels will cause large numbers of nonmilitary deaths.
Running terrorist training camps for youths (also Islamic Jihad), with 100,000 attendees in 2023.
Encouraging hundreds of Gazans to participate in suicide bombings, including pregnant women and children.
Last month, Hamas organized the killing of 1400+ Israelis, who were nonmilitary, and posted live video feeds:
As its fighters stormed southern Israel on Oct. 7, they live-streamed their murder of more than 1,400 people in Israel. Using their phones and GoPro cameras attached to their bodies, the Hamas members documented their slaughter of women, children, and the elderly; their kidnapping of revelers at a music festival; and a variety of barbaric acts that included burning families alive. In one video, released by the Israeli military, a Hamas fighter tries to decapitate one of the murdered with a shovel. Time.
Hamas also kidnapped over 240 people in Israel, representing 28 different countries. To date, it has refused to release almost all of them.
In response to its recent terrorist attacks, the world has largely adopted the goals of Hamas:
World leaders have condemned Israeli attempts to capture or kill Hamas leadership and militants but there has been minimal condemnation of Hamas for its 1400+ terrorist killings, few calls for the unconditional release of the hostages and few calls to destroy Hamas, other than from the U.S., Israel and the Jewish community.
Peace efforts between Israel and other countries have been disturbed.
There has been a surge in antisemitic incidents worldwide:
Meanwhile, the ADL Center on Extremism is tracking an increase in antisemitic and Islamophobic hate incidents across the U.S., as well as a spike in anti-Israel, pro-terror rhetoric. Examples of this pro-terror rhetoric have surfaced at anti-Israel rallies, where some participants justify and even praise Hamas’s attack. Antisemitism has been noted at a number of these rallies, where participants have, for example, promoted age-old tropes about Jews secretly controlling governments around the world. The group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) has endorsed Hamas’s terrorism and called for a “dismantling” of Zionism on U.S. college campuses. Source: ADL
The world continues to act as Hamas puppets:
Instead of condemning Hamas for being a terrorist organization that uses the people of Gaza as human shields, the world tries to accommodate it, which is bad for Israel and the people of Gaza.
The world accepts as completely innocent the Gazans who put Hamas in power, have kept it in power since 2007 and enable its terrorist activities.
If Gazans are to have a future other than poverty and refugee camps and Israelis are to have a secure future free of regular terrorist attacks, Hamas and the other terrorist organizations in Gaza must be destroyed, at least in Gaza. It’s up to us to do what we can to make this happen, even if it is just small steps.
