Leaving Twitter

I have decided to join NPR and close my (personal) Twitter account because of the actions of Elon Musk, its reckless and irrational owner. Musk has enabled hate speech, leading to an “unprecedented” increase in its use. I believe it is important to “stay away from evil".

Twitter followers have decreased nine percent in the 2-3 months after Musk purchased Twitter, which includes many celebrities and advertisers.
