My life is centered on becoming the best person I can be and doing what I can to make the world a better place.
I know I cannot “save” the world on my own. But I can take steps, even small ones, that help move society in the right direction, even if I don’t see the results right away.
This week, for example, I began using the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company. Their prices are far better than what I could find elsewhere, and I would rather support a business committed to affordable medicine than large pharmacy chains or major pharmaceutical companies.
Last week, I chose to hire a private driver instead of using Uber or Lyft. The price was slightly lower, but more importantly, 100% of what I paid went directly to the driver. In contrast, Uber and Lyft typically keep about half of the fare (excluding tips) while paying their CEOs staggering sums: $39 million for Uber and $78 million for Lyft.
I feel good about focusing on the actions I can take and following through, rather than spending time complaining about what others should do.
Please do not fall for the illusion or the lie that any action is too small. There is no action too small. In fact, when millions of us do tiny things, we can disrupt these systems. I'm not saying that getting in the game is going 100% to change the outcome, but it may, because we are in an unprecedented time. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

I’m a up and candle maker and I use some of the proceeds to help people in need. Even though I can’t get help or funds to generate my business I still help others no matter what when I can. I love seeing smiles on people faces that’s my joy.
I also hire individuals to drive me when necessary. It's often someone I know who is struggling financially.
