Ferncare receives a check for the 2024 Voter Challenge

Since 2018, I have sponsored a voter turnout competition for 8 cities near me. Last night, I was pleased to present a check for $500 to Ferncare, the charity designated by the City of Pleasant Ridge. This prize was for winning second place in the 2024 Voter Challenge with an 83.19% turnout in the November 2024 election. The check was presented at last night’s City Commission meeting presided over by Mayor Brett Scott.
The City of Lathrup Village designated the Lathrup Village Children’s Garden as the recipient of its award of $250 (no photo).
Awards to other cities are pending.
