I support Israel and Kamala Harris

This essay is directed towards supporters of Israel.
I am a strong supporter of Israel. I have visited 3 times and have many relatives living there. My family is strongly involved with Israel and the Jewish community.
I am also a strong supporter of Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party and believe that they are the best choice for those of us who support Israel.
The United States needs a President with the following leadership qualities, both for itself and to help democratic allies such as Israel. Vice President Harris has these qualities and Donald Trump does not:
Concern about the best interest of the United States and the world, instead of one’s ego and net worth.
High intelligence to deal with the difficulties of the modern world.
Regularly reading, studying and thinking about important issues.
Regularly consulting with experts and allies before making decisions.
Being calm and rational, particularly under pressure.
Making decisions grounded in reality.
Appointing qualified, experienced officials with these qualities.
These leadership qualities are important today:
Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and is a strong partner in America’s national defense.
Israel has strong economic ties with the United States.
However, Israel also has a terrible Prime Minister. Similar to Trump, he is using his governmental position to avoid criminal prosecution, is moving his country towards authoritarian rule and is not acting in the best interest of his constituents. This presents a challenge to any American President who wants to preserve the relationship and maintain or strengthen Israel’s democratic policies. Donald Trump lacks the maturity, intellect and personality to do this.
Long term, it is important to develop a non terrorist Palestinian country that coexists with Israel. This is a major challenge since many Palestinians are obsessed with destroying Israel by promoting or enabling terrorism and Palestinian self-destruction. Moving Palestinian political thinking away from hatred and towards improving Palestinian lives in the Middle East will require hard work, extensive study and consultation with allies, something Trump is incapable of doing. In fact, many of those who worked closely with Trump are now campaigning for Harris because they know that Trump is dangerous.
For all these reasons, I strongly support Kamala Harris for President and urge you to join me.
