Trump the dictator - bad for business

Donald J. Trump as dictator will likely not be good for your business or the economy. As a business owner since the 1970s, I know that stability and rational government policies are essential for my business. With Trump, neither is possible. Thus, many business people will be very conservative and hold off on hiring or investing, making a business downturn more likely.
Today, the indicators that Trump intends to be a dictator are commonplace:
Trump has indicated, over and over again, his love of dictators and his inclinations toward dictatorial rule.
Trump recently indicated that if people vote for him they will never have to vote again. He confirmed this during followups, dispelling any possibility that he made a verbal slip.
Trump has repeatedly indicated that the results of any election he loses are suspect; he refuses to honor the 2024 election results in advance.
Other reasons Trump will be bad for business:
Running government effectively requires many attributes that Trump lacks:
Caring deeply about promoting the general welfare of Americans as opposed to improving your net worth or boosting your ego
Working hard to understand and help solve problems
Engaging experts to determine the best decisions to make
Per Jennifer Rubin:
Sadly, business leaders historically have tried to cut deals with fascists, imagining they can control the leader and evade whatever horrors befall the rest of the population. In fact, as you note, populist autocracies are invariably a disaster for the economy.
Finally, the President sets a standard for behavior. I suspect that very few of us could effectively run our business based on his regular personal behavior - you wouldn't hire him - why would you elect him President?
In this election, you can vote for democracy or dictatorship. You can support the Constitution or Trump. Which will you choose?
