Project 2025 - why this election matters and you should be involved

We only have 112 days of freedom until the November 5, 2024 election. It’s time to get involved.

If Trump and Congressional Republicans do manage to win the 2024 elections, there is little doubt that they will implement Project 2025, which will damage our lives severely, as shown below:
Trump claims to have “no idea” who the authors are behind Project 2025 but he appointed most of them during his administration.
This means that Trump is either profoundly dishonest or has a marked cognitive decline.
According to Robert Reich, Project 2025 is a scary, 900 page blueprint to implement what Donald Trump has said he wants to do if he’s reelected. It will:
Withdraw the abortion pill mifepristone from the market
Eliminate “woke propaganda” from all laws and federal regulations — including the terms “sexual orientation,” “diversity, equity, and inclusion,” “gender equality,” and “reproductive rights.”
Expel trans service members from the military,
End all diversity programs
Use “school choice” to gut public education.
Enact mass arrests and deportations of undocumented people in the United States
Ending many worker protections
Dropping prosecutions of far-right militias like the Proud Boys
Giving additional tax cuts to big corporations and the rich.
Expanding oil drilling in the United States, terminating clean energy incentives, and ending fossil-fuel regulations
Shrinking the geographic footprint of national monuments

In response, we should all get more involved in politics and support Biden and the Democrats to save our democracy.
Life is about tradeoffs - we must make the best choices we can at the time. To maintain democracy and avoid a dictatorship, I am voting for President Biden and Democrats for State and Federal positions and urge you to do so.
In addition, I suggest everyone pick a candidate to support, an institution or a cause and get to work:
