My theory is that they’re fine with burning America down to the ground if it means liberals are destroyed too. That’s why they don’t care how horrifying he and his regime are. Hegseth: For the lives and sacrifices of our military women and men to be betrayed in this way — to be under such a man as Hegseth — is an abominable shame and dishonor for America — an eternal stain of broken faith. Steve Schmidt told his son he thought the military was no longer worthy of his son’s service and sacrifices. God damn the contemptible and spineless Senate for confirming him. We all know they don’t care about moral character. Maybe questions at the hearings should have focused a lot more on hypothetical military crises and how Hegseth would deal with them — he would not have had a clue.
