We love you Canada!

Canada is the closest friend of the United States. Americans who are sane know this. Detroiters, connected to Windsor, Canada by bridge and tunnel, know this even better.
Unfortunately, in November 2024, a third of registered Americans voted for Donald Trump as President (a third voted for Kamala Harris and a third did not vote). They knew, or should have known, that Trump was deranged if not insane, a bully, an adjudicated sex offender, incompetent in business, a simpleton and a con man. Now the world is suffering from that decision.
Donald J. Trump will be gone, not soon enough for many, and we will spend the next several decades recovering. But Americans will remember our friendship with Canada (and our other allies) and start to repair the damage.
For now, Americans must stand up to Trump, as Canada, the EU and other countries are doing. We must stop supporting the billionaires who put Trump in power and instead spend our money and political capital on supporting small businesses. We must also be more politically active and act smarter. We must fight the right wing and mainstream media who successfully spread his lies and sanewash him and support alternative media focused on the truth.
Thanks, Canada and our other allies for supporting the United States over the years. We appreciate it and are working to restore sane leadership to our country.
