Donald J. Trump may be the most hated person in the world. As a result, I anticipate a wave of protests and civil disobedience at the properties he owns, or that use his name. Americans may engage in actions that make Trump so anxious about his businesses that it interferes with his dismantling of American democracy.
Elon Musk may be the second most hated person in the world because he does the dirty work of Trump. He has also been described as estranged from humanity. Most Americans believe his evil is more important than his business success and want to reduce his power and destructive actions. What can we do?
First, ditch X. I no longer use it or refer to it. It no longer represents the national discourse because it promotes hate speech regularly without any apologies. Many people question the judgment of X users - either they believe in delusions (Trump won the 2020 election, COVID and climate change are a hoax, vaccines are dangerous) or they are unwilling to reject evil.
Second, ditch Tesla. The car may be great but it is a symbol for Musk. Don’t be surprised if these cars are vandalized (I am predicting not encouraging) as a means to target Musk. If you believe this, you may want to sell your Tesla ASAP before its price drops. Yes, it would be a sacrifice to sell. But do you want to support Musk or be an obvious target?
You may also want to ditch advertisers on X or major supporters of Trump and get others to join you. Related actions are selling Trump or Musk related stock and not working or doing business with them. I also refuse to listen to them live, to limit their evil influence).
As long as Trump is in power, it will get worse for everyone but the billionaires. If enough of us make small sacrifices now, we can limit Trump’s destructive actions.

Understood — I was just thinking about what I can do.
No fan of Elon, but Tesla employs over 140,000 plus thousands of other suppliers and businesses. Would you be in favor of putting them all out of work?
They are not responsible for the actions of the CEO any more than Ford employees are responsible for the anti-sematic actions of Henry Ford, or the Honda employees in Ohio, for Pearl Harbor? Would you suggest that owners of a Ford or Honda quit the brand and sell their cars at a loss to get even? Who does that hurt?
