Encouraging young people to register to vote (and then vote), particularly young people in swing states, is one of the best ways to have an impact on this election. Their participation in the electoral process can have a significant impact on election outcomes.
If you’re ever frustrated — take action. Do you know any young voters in swing states? Text them and ask them to register. If you have children or grandchildren in college, ask them to spread the word to their friends in swing states. Remind them how much power they have if they act in sufficient numbers.

What topics are young people most interested in?
Climate change
LGTBQ rights
Abortion rights
Student loan forgiveness
Health care costs
Personally, I think young people should be most concerned about the threat of dictatorship since it will have such a profound impact on their lives, but this issue does not seem to resonate with them, so I talk about the above 5 issues.
